ICB has a specialized litigation division comprising of a team of legal experts with proven track record and long experience in the litigation field, pursuing / defending all types of disputes pertaining to civil and commercial transactions. The team looks after all legal actions in the Courts of Kuwait and is licensed to appear before all Kuwaiti Courts (i.e. including the Constitutional Court and the Court of Cassation which is Kuwait's highest court of appeal).

Wherever appropriate and feasible, we encourage our clients to prefer arbitration as the method of dispute resolution, as an alternative to court litigation, due to the obvious advantage of expediency. We provide arbitration services in Kuwait, other Middle East arbitration centres; Geneva and London, mainly under ICC rules and LCIA rules. We also facilitate mediation services where we submit our client’s dispute through mutual consent to impartial mediators who will in turn arrive at mutually accepted decision.

ICB represents (and has represented) many governmental and semi-governmental authorities and corporations. ICB has done so either in its capacity as a law firm establishing such corporations, or the legal advisor to those corporations. ICB's involvement in this practice area is either in the form of a one time assignment by clients or in the form of an annual retainer agreement.

ICB has advised on numerous Islamic transactions which include: Tawaroq, Murabaha, Depreciating Musharakah, Wekala Investment. ICB's advice consists mainly on the legal perspective of a transaction in addition to addressing the Sharia compliance perspective.
